Meet the artist - Vanessa Bowman

Artist Vanessa Bowman from the archive - the brief was fresh photography for her website.  A great brief for me as it incorporates both portrait and lifestyle photography in an artistic environment!  I wanted to take pictures that not only captured the artist but also gave an impression of her surroundings, her inspiration and details and accents that would build up a narrative.  Vanessa's studio is an idyllic summer house in her pretty Dorset garden infused with the same light and colour as her paintings. We all use social media platforms so much now to promote our own work and having good bank of images to use is vital.
