I spent a wonderful morning with artist Vanessa Bowman last month who was after fresh photography for her website.  A great brief for me as it incorporates both portrait and lifestyle photography in an artistic environment!  I wanted to take pictures that not only captured the artist but also gave an impression of her surroundings, her inspiration and details and accents that would build up a narrative.  Vanessa's studio is an idyllic summer house in her pretty Dorset garden infused with the same light and colour as her paintings. I'm working on a package to offer Dorset artists/makers a similar photo session for web photography.  Watch this space...
