I was so thrilled Jessie and Ashley asked me to photograph their wedding in May.  Their's is a perfect Dorset love story.  Ashley is a fisherman and a serious foodie while Jessie runs her own floristry business in Poundbury, The Poundbury Florist.  They are both incredibly creative and passionate people and that came across in all the aspects of the wedding.  There was a rustic and vintage feel to the whole day.  Jessie, in a beautiful 1950s style dress, walked from her childhood home to the pretty village church in Milborne Port and then the bride and groom with 'Just Married' bunting led their friends and family through the country lanes to the grounds of Bowling Green.  So idyllic!  The tipis were adorned with bunting and garlands of greenery and flowers, which of course were beautiful and lovingly crafted by Jessie's own team.  Coral peonies were key to the floral theme but Jessie set them off beautifully with succulents and thistles.  And of course there had to be fish as well as all the flowers!  Ashley and his team of fishermen and chefs caught, cooked and created the most extravagant seafood platters, heaven.

Here are a few of my photographs, including a fun one which I call 'The Fisherman and the Flower Girl'.
